The Club is currently working towards the Golfmark accreditation through England Golf. This ensures that the Club adopts the best practices in all matters relating to junior golf and that the Club has the relevant equity and child protection policies in place.
The Club is looking to recruit more boys and girls to the Junior Section and the membership is open in all categories. Enquiries are welcome from beginners and experienced golfers. At around 5,000 yards the course is an ideal one for learning and developing all aspects of the game.
Juniors are eligible to play in a range of competitions and there is also a junior team that plays matches against other clubs in the region. Juniors enjoy good access to the course with no weekday restrictions which is great for school holiday periods when many juniors play morning and afternoon rounds.
Group coaching lessons are available for members and non members on Sunday mornings via the Club's PGA Professional, Angus Law. Please contact the Pro Shop for further information.
